Bu ama\u00e7 ile ilk olarak yazar\u0131n eseri olu\u015ftururken hangi \u00e7evresel ve tarihsel ko\u015fullarda ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015f, daha sonra eserin yaz\u0131lmas\u0131nda yazar\u0131 etkileyen fakt\u00f6rlere de\u011finilmi\u015ftir. Birinci b\u00f6l\u00fcmde ise kitab\u0131 incelememize temel olu\u015fturan mutluluk, ahlak, din gibi kavramlar temellendirilmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Son a\u015famada yazar\u0131n bu kavramlar\u0131 alg\u0131lay\u0131\u015f\u0131 \u00fczerinde durularak eserinde mutluluk ahlak ili\u015fkisi ba\u011flam\u0131na yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131na dair bulgular elde edilmi\u015ftir. Burada yazar\u0131n ahlak ve mutluluk aras\u0131nda kurdu\u011fu ili\u015fki din psikolojisi ba\u011flam\u0131nda incelenmi\u015ftir.
