Bu k\u00fcrs\u00fcde, 1937-1948 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda g\u00f6rev yapan Alman Sinolog Prof. Dr. Wolfram Eberhard, \u00fclkemizde Sinoloji biliminin geli\u015fmesine b\u00fcy\u00fck katk\u0131lar yaparak \u00c7in kaynaklar\u0131nda yer alan T\u00fcrklerle ilgili b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerin belirlenmesi ve de\u011ferlendirilmesi ile \u00c7in edebiyat\u0131 ve tarihi alan\u0131nda pek \u00e7ok ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. Temeli sa\u011flam bir \u015fekilde at\u0131lan bu bilim dal\u0131 Eberhard\u2019dan sonra yeti\u015fen Prof. Dr. Bahaeddin, \u00d6gel, Prof. Dr. Muhaddere Nabi \u00d6zerdim, Prof. Dr. Pulat Otkan, Prof. Dr. G\u00fcl\u00e7in \u00c7andarl\u0131o\u011flu, Prof. Dr. Ay\u015fe Onat, Prof. Dr.\u00d6zkan \u0130zgi ve Prof. Dr. B\u00fclent Okay gibi Sinolog ve tarih\u00e7ilerin b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00e7abalar\u0131yla \u00c7in kaynaklar\u0131 \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda pek \u00e7ok bilimsel eserler ortaya konmakla kal\u0131nmam\u0131\u015f, bu de\u011ferli bilim insanlar\u0131n\u0131n yeti\u015ftirdikleri gen\u00e7 nesle mensup ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar da ayn\u0131 gayret ve azimle, ayr\u0131ca Sinoloji\u2019nin T\u00fcrk tarihi ve k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc ilgilendiren alanlarda katk\u0131lar sa\u011flamaya devam etmektedirler.
