Eski T\u00fcrk dini, Budizm ve Maniheizmin ard\u0131ndan \u0130slamiyet\u2019i kabul eden Uygur T\u00fcrkleri, kabul ettikleri dinin vecibelerini sosyok\u00fclt\u00fcrel hayat\u0131n merkezine yerle\u015ftirmi\u015fler. 10. y\u00fczy\u0131lda \u0130slamiyet\u2019in devlet dini olarak kabul\u00fcnden sonra hem sosyal ya\u015famda hem<br \/>\nde geleneksel mesleklerin icras\u0131nda ve uygulamalar\u0131nda dini unsurlar a\u011f\u0131r basmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 12. y\u00fczy\u0131ldan sonra ise tasavvuf d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi bu co\u011frafyada yay\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, geleneksel ya\u015famda belirginle\u015fen ve s\u00f6zl\u00fc k\u00fclt\u00fcre dayal\u0131 dini mahiyetteki kural ve kaideler yaz\u0131ya ge\u00e7irilmeye ba\u015flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Nitekim 13. y\u00fczy\u0131ldan 20. y\u00fczy\u0131l ba\u015flar\u0131na kadar bu co\u011frafyada say\u0131s\u0131z f\u00fct\u00fcvvet-n\u00e2me yaz\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Uygur T\u00fcrkleri aras\u0131nda geleneksel meslekleri konu alan ve \u201crisale\u201d ad\u0131yla an\u0131lan bu eserler, genellikle 13 cm uzunlu\u011funda, 9 cm geni\u015fli\u011finde ve daha \u00e7ok cepte ta\u015f\u0131nabilecek nitelikteki el yazmalar\u0131d\u0131r.
